Goblin Knob

I know I haven't done many trails at Priest Lake, but this one is definitely in my top 3. It was the perfect day, high 60s with a nice gentle breeze. The trail was shady almost the entire way, and the incline was not too intense. We all loved it. And, the views at the top were A-MAZING! Definitely worth the effort.
Prior to heading out on the hike Nora did lose her tennis shoes somewhere at home and put some on that were about 2 sizes too small! She did some complaining and even shed a couple tears over her hurting feet, but that was the only complaining (poor girl!).
We did struggle (yes, again) to find the trailhead that is listed in my trail book we are using. It even had GPS coordinates (we really don't think that trail exists anymore). So we kept driving a bit, searched for the trailhead listed for a good hour, then we found what looked like a trail and decided to go for it. Thankfully for us, it worked out and was a trail!
It was such a great day. We loved almost every minute of it, until the mosquitoes came out!

Directions to Trailhead:
Go 3.3 miles on East Shore Road and take it 9.1 miles to rd. 2/27 and turn right. Follow Road 27 a little over 3 miles crossing Indian Creek twice to its junction is 272. Continue up road 27 and follow the trail  on foot (looks like a game trail off to the right of rd. 27.)

GPS of trailhead we took:48°40'26.8"N 116°46'48.1"W
